Technology News: Enterprise: OpenLogic Kicks Off Open Source

Months after releasing software designed to identify open source software present on the user's computer, OpenLogic has started rolling on an open source census project. Participants in the survey will have access to reports that summarize their own open source usage and provide comparisons to other similar companies.

I propose that the default dashboard feed should be set up in such a way that it doesn’t show more than the two latest items from each site. This would mean that other articles from other sites would be shown in the dashboard longer rather than being pushed out by the Weblog Tools Collection constant and consistent addition of new items.

The asteroid Apophis still has only a 1 in 45,000 chance of hitting Earth in 2036, NASA says, despite recent news reports suggesting a 13-year-old German boy had discovered a mistake in the space agency's analysis. The reports suggested the risk of an impact was actually 100 times as great as NASA's estimate.
