Many newbies come into affiliate marketing and affiliate programs of all types can start out being very green and think they can make money fast and easy with only doing the basics and not actually committing themselves to a long term business model or plan. I believe the best way to take advantage within affiliate marketing is to create a blog farm that will provide significant traffic, that doesn’t mean spam blogs but blogs that are properly created and marketed to your target audience. Kira Plastinina Invades the US

Sun, 11 May 2008 21:44:15 PDT
I tried to avoid it but the inevitable is upon us: Kira Plastinina has arrived stateside. I’m a bit wary of the Russian that just invaded the USA. I guess I’m envious because I wanted to be fashion designer at her age but didn’t have a filthy rich father to bankroll my lofty dreams. If you haven’t heard of the 15-year old Russian heiress/fashion designer yet, then you will soon. Los Angeles times reports that: Her first U.S. store opened in New York last week. Five more are on the way thi

Ukrainians take their treasures for granted?

Sun, 11 May 2008 21:44:47 PDT
It's unfortunate to see negative attitudes like this making the news in Ukraine: Ukrainian travellers are up in arms after authorities ... issued a decree that only Ukrainian songs could be played over the sound systems in aeroplanes and trains run by the state... But locals want] to listen to western music. Oksana Petrenkova from the capital Kiev said: "When I'm travelling I want to hear someone like Robbie Williams, not some folk band from the countryside." Someone please point out to

Back at it...

Sun, 11 May 2008 21:44:47 PDT
Where did that last week go?? It hasn't been a "slow news" week by any means. Of late there's been a lot of activity in the Ukrainian community as well as at Nash Holos, and sometimes it just gets a bit overwhelming. I could sure use a clone or two! A few of the things I've been preoccupied with lately: redesign/overhaul Nash Holos website lots of interviews on Nash Holos ... the most recent being with Dr. Lubomyr Luciuk on the Ukrainian redress settlement. It will air on tonight's program

children

Sun, 11 May 2008 21:46:56 PDT
When I first heard about this (and whenever I hear news of other accidents involving groups of young people), I breathed a sigh of relief that my own child isn't old enough to be out in the world on his own. It is indeed "every parent's worst nightmare". It wasn't until a week later that I found out that a friend of mine is connected to the mother of one of those who died. Hearing the behind the scenes story of the terrible loss for that family is much worse, of course, than merely reading a ne

Burma: Time for Dramatic Action

Sun, 11 May 2008 21:49:07 PDT
With the sinking of the Red Cross boat, the little news that we receive from Burma just gets worse and worse. At least 50,000 are dead but the toll could approach 100,000. Almost a week since the Cyclone hit the delta country of Burma only about a quarter of the aid is even being delivered, let alone distributed. Some relief organizations estimate that 1.5 million people could die from the initial storm as well as the failure for any serious relief efforts to penetrate those stricken by the dis

Sun, 11 May 2008 21:54:25 PDT
One console future is a very bad thing Destructoid have posted an article explaining why they think that a one console future is something that should be avoided at all costs. They make some very good points, discussing the problems that would arise if there was to be no competition. They do however go on to discuss when a one console future would actually make sense and why. It’s an interesting read, so click on the link below and check it out for yourself. article: Destructoid May 12
